Triethylamine

Triethylamine,an organic compound, is a colorless transparent liquid with a strong odor of ammonia.It emits light smoke in the air. Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether. The aqueous solution is weakly alkaline. Flammable, explosive. Toxic, strongly irritating. In industry, it is mainly used as solvent, curing agent, catalyst, inhibitor, preservative, and synthetic dyes.
